ALPINE DANCERS FLAG (FAHNE)
WHO WE ARE
This side of the flag shows the emblem of the Alpine Dancers: it is a man and woman, clothed in our formal Miesbacher Tracht, dancing in the state of Texas.  The flags here represent the United States and the state of Texas.  For decoration, we have some Alpine flowers.
WHO WE REPRESENT
This side of the flag depicts the area whose customs we preserve.  The state emblem of Bavaria is the center piece.  It is surrounded by our motto which means "To preserve the customs and costumes of old."  The national flag of Germany and the city crest of Miesbach are shown at the top and bottom, respectively.  The side corners are decorated with the traditional embroidery of our Lederhosen.
